Phil cuzzi

Phill Cuzzi MLB umpire came in to talk to us about his life as an umpire, and what he has done. As a softball player, who’s dad loves baseball, and brother plays and loves it, it was such a great/interesting conference. How many people can say that an MLB umpire came in to talk to us. Not many. We asking him about some of his worst/best experiences, and how he knew he wanted to become an umpire. Recently, as he was umpiring a game for the New York Yankees, he threw out Bret Gardner. It was amazing to get a deeper understand at what actually happens at a higher level of sports.

Top Definition Senior Year:  The very last year of high school. Where student pull pranks, skip, have prom, and graduation. Last chance to not care before stepping out into the real world. Last homecomings. Last chance to play sports for some of us. Last chance to show people who you are. The year where you go all out. The seniors  plan  their  senior skip day  for every  month . On March 13, 2020 Mr. Abate announced on the loudspeaker that we will be starting online schooling for two weeks. When I first heard this I was filled with excitement. Two weeks was great! I would get to catch up on some sleep, let my leg heal, and just relax. All those thoughts were wrong. Two weeks has now turned into longer, not knowing when we will be going back. Everything is now hitting, and starting to become a reality. The reality that everything I was waiting to experience during my senior year, I won't be able to experience. I know for myself I can say this pande...
