All About Alex

Hi my name is Alexandra Ward, and this is my life. 

Today is Sunday September 22, 2019, and I’m going to tell you a little bit about my life. Today I woke up at 6:13 am to go to work with my father who owns a bagel store. Usually when I get there I work at the cash register, dealing with people all day. My dad opened up this store mid- March, and ever since then I have made a few great friends, who I also get to work with! Besides working for my dad, I do the Stats for Passaic Valley’s girls volleyball team. My two friends, Sarah and Sam, also help me with the stats, which is always fun to have your friends around you. Besides from helping my dad out at his store, I love to spend time with my mom as much as I can. For work she travels a lot, which means a few weeks out of each month she isn’t home. When she is home, and we both don’t have things to do, we like to go shopping. One of our favorite stores to go to is Ulta. Every time we go to Ulta we always walk out with unnecessary items, that we need, but also don’t need. One thing that I love to do on my free time that makes me love Ulta trips with my mom is makeup. Most of the time I don’t really have the time and energy to do it, so I just watch videos on YouTube for hours. For me makeup isn’t always something I need to have on me, but I think that it is amazing to watch, because it is like an art. You can watch girls, and guys go from looking like them normal selves, to transforming into either  special affect makeup or even glam looks. Another thing I love to do is go out with my friends. We do a lot of things together like go run errands, go to get coffee, play board games at each other’s houses, laughing crying whatever it is we do it all together.  Growing up I did a few sports. I used to do gymnastics, cheer, basketball, and softball. The only sport I continued to play is softball. While growing playing softball my whole life, the injuries always comes around sometimes. I sprained my ankle multiple times, and never thought as it as anything bad, until two years ago I had to get surgery. The surgery experience was not fun, and I hope no one ever had to go through something like that. After high school is over, I would like to go to college, and gain more education to focus more of what I want to do in the future. For college I would like to stay some what close to home, and become a teacher. Ever since I was a baby I always wanted to become a teacher. I would go to stores, and see the attendance books they had and buy them and pretend I was a teacher. I had white boards, the stickers they would put on their white board for holidays, the desk, I had everything. What made me want to become a teacher is little kids. Growing up I always loved little things, and thought they were the cutest things ever. I used to baby sit a couple of kids, and it really taught me how kids are, which is a great experience to learn. There isn’t much more that is really interesting about me, but those were some of them.
